im moving to EC for school this year and looking for some spots to hunt ducks , i am good respectable hunter. im not looking for any secrets im just wondering where some alright spots are... how heavy does the chippewa get hunted and is it any good ? i do not know the area very well, is general duck hunting good in this area? if anyone is ever looking for a waterfowl partner shoot me an email

There are opportunities in the EC area but I would classify it as average or fair hunting for ducks. I don't hunt them and don't know anyone who scores consistently on them in the area. Not really in the duck hunting 'loop' though and you might find a good spot with some snooping around. From what I've gathered its mostly backwater hunting, either setting up or jump shooting. Really don't have much for advice or spots to try. You could try a slingshot on campus but they might frown on that!
