Email compromised?

I think my email has been compromised.

I haven't received any for a couple of days, and I've ordered a couple of things online, where in the past I've received confirmation emails from these places.

This morning I had an email on my Blackberry, but when I tried to access it from the computer, it was no longer in the system.

I checked the 3 computers, both the inboxes and junk email folders, but nothing.

If I call my provider, can they track where my emails go? Or are there too many emails to do something like that?

I use Frontier as a provider.

1st thing to do if you suspect your account has been is to change your password.

2ndly check the view in your email client, it could be you have a strange setting not allowing you to see everything.

3rd call your provider, yes they should be able to see email sent to you.

4th if you have web access to it check it that way, your client profile may have gone corrupt.

OK reread your post and the client view settings is probably not it. But the rest is pretty valid.

After racking my brain, going through the above steps....

I finally got a call back from Technical Service. "James?" (who didn't have a "James" sounding voice) walked me through more steps on my computer, even though I informed him that I had 3 different computers that I could not access my email.

After we went through different steps, I was informed that my email account had been cancelled for some reason. I couldn't get an explanation as to how my email could get cancelled, even though my internet was still working, or that I could SEND emails.

Oh well, it's working again, but it bugs me when I get drove nuts over something that I have no control, even though I THINK it's something I DO have control over.

There are a whole pile of ways for an email administrator to mess up an email account. If you really need access to old emails, make sure your email client keeps a copy locally on the PC.
