I had a herd of raccoon come in and clean out 1/2 acre of my sweet corn and have been trying to trap them i am using a live trap and also coon cuffs I am just wondering if any one has found a better way for a set than hole sets and marshmallows for bait as i am always out of mellows and no coon except for the live trap any help would be great.

The coons probably prefer the fresh corn to the marshmellows - can't blame them for that... wink Try to figure out where they are entering your corn patch, and set the traps as close to their trail as possible. Try some sardines for bait - they usually have a hard time resisting that - good luck..
