Fishing wasn't much yesterday...

After finding my spot, 15 minutes later this guy joined me.

Took him 20 minutes to get Comfortable and took a nice long nap.

After an 1.5 hours he got restless and couldn't get comfortable again, So he got a drink....I was waiting for a flathead to snap at his nose!

I moved, but stayed in the area, then later came back upstream. The deer moved 20', still nap'n.

Missed 3 runs and lost a fish in a snag while this deer was sitting there. (They were stealing 1/2 my bait on those runs) Had a loud conversation with a canoeist that came by, and the sherrif stopped by in their RP. Had the music on, etc....This deer was not the least bit nervous! I was casting only a few feet from him.

This and the cool weather made my afternoon pretty enjoyable, Then as i headed back to the landing, CRACK! Hit a nice deadhead in 16Fow.
