Another newbie tomusky fishing

My primary fish has always been bass fishing but now I have decided to take the leap into musky fishing. My only issue is that I have is that I really have no gear to get started. I have been doing alot of reseasrch and buying on this forum and others so I have boughten a few lures.

Now I am in need of a couple rod and reels net tackle box and whatever else a newbie would need to get started in what I am hoping will be another addiction!!!!!

I have placed a ad in the wanted section so please take a look at that for some of the things I am needing. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

The one thing I did find out really quick that musky fishing is not going to be a cheap fishing sport. BUt withhtat in mind I am looking for some good used equipment. I am no a rich man at all so price is very important to and to the future of my marraige if you know what I mean!!!!! LOL Freaked out the wife when I brought home a couple of lures that cost $20 a piece and I told her that those were some of the cheaper new lures out there.

I think that if I invested $50 in a lure I would have a hard time throwing it out for a musky to bite the [PoorWordUsage] out if it!!!! LOL

ANyways if you can help please let me know. Jus visit my ad under wanted musky equipment.

Thanks

Mike

Having traveled this road don't by cheap to get buy only to upgrade later, you'll blow lots of money. That $80 special rod looks good on the rack and to the pocket book but then you find it's not what you want and buy a $150 rod that works better for your needs and you have an $80 dust collector. You could sell it and recoup some of your loss but at best you'll get $40-$50 for it IF you can get rid of it, so at best you only threw away $30-$40.... Resurch, try out other guys stuff and buy Quality once, that will save you money in the long run...
