Where to go?

Just got my first bow fishing rig set up. Where is a good place to start? I live in Kasson but am willing to drive a little bit. No boat gotta b from shore or wading. Is there places im not allowed to bow fish?

i grew up in dodge center, i used to go into mantorville behind the gas station, by the RV park, where the fresh water dumps into the river from the tile line on the north side of the river. used to be lots of carp in that area in the summertime, and was fairly easy to shoot from shore or the elevated banks. good luck.
