TODDY
After reading the largest limit post I thought it would be interesting to see some stats on this. What sparked the thought was that it happened to me last weekend on a west metro lake. Small group of 8 (2 person) boats. Everyone brought in 5 fish but the largest bag was a whopping 7 lb 5 oz. I caught over 60 fish that day myself but nothing over 2 lb 2 oz. The largest fish caught was 2 lb 7.5 oz.Didn't KVD set an Elite series record on the Patomic a few years back?TODDY
Superduty
No, you're probably thinking about the Classic when it was in Pittsburg on the Three Rivers. KVD won that one. The Potomac has milfoil and big largemouth. I was lucky enough to get a little tour from a local when I bought my boat in Virginia. Too bad I didn't have time to wet a line. It looked good, even in late December!
phishnerd
I fished USA Bassin a few years back and my partner and I won a tourney on Big Marine with some thing like 5.47 pounds on a 5 fish bag. I remember it was crazy windy and post cold front. Terrible fishing conditions. 5 little 12 inchers were good enough to win that one. We were very suprised to learn that everyone including us struggled that day.
Fishwrench
5.47... I can't compete with that. I won a tournament on Prior Lake in 2008 with just over 7lbs. That lake has been horrible to me the past several years. I had to buy a bump board that measure in centimeters instead of inches.
