br00tal
Hello everybody!I've recently moved to Minneapolis (new job), and have mapped out a few acceptable Carp spots, and have done relatively well at them, but I am looking for my next victim...the Buffalo. Big and smallmouth. I'm not very familiar with the Mississippi in the metro area (I'm from up north near the headwaters), and one of the only places I have tried multiple times is the classic "where the Minnehaha meets the Mississippi." No luck, for Buffalo, anyway.I'm not asking for your honey holes, but can any fellow rough fishers give a few decent leads and/or ideas? I was thinking about trying some of the backwaters near Fort Snelling, and a few others I forgot already.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Once again, keep your honey holes to yourselves! Just ideas and leads, please!
CarpinMNRiver
I have caught many buffalo in the MN river but usually just catch them when fishing for carp. I would assume they hang out in the same spots carp do.
