99 suburban daylight running lights?

Recommended Posts

Check the bulbs. If I remember correctly, they are located just below the headlamps. If you take the headlamp assemblies out, you can access the housings. Double check the bulb sockets, I have replaced many of them that were melted from getting hot.

Have you checked fuse 15 inside the truck? If so, go to the DRL relay and see if you have power to the yellow wire terminal G6, if so, jump the power to the tan wire, terminal H4, see if the DRL come on.

Could also be the DRL module. On a '99 Chevrolet/GMC Yukon, Tahoe, the module is located on the dash bracket above the accelerator pedal. I believe it has a silver finned aluminum heat sink. If you get down under the steering column and look up above and underneath the panel, you should see it. This module uses a relay to power the DRL's, be sure to test that in addition to the fuse.
