Eclipse?? will it be good fishing

what do you all think or know about the eclipse and will it be good for fishing.

Fished Waconia last night and the action slowed waaaay down as the eclipse was about a 1/3 of the way. Don't know for sure if that meant anything or the fish just moved on.

North of Grand Rapids I caught five smallies on consecutive casts just as the eclipse was starting, but not another bite after. I doubt if the eclipse had much to do with it, but it was fun to get those five and watch the eclipse afterwards. No wallies.

The eclipse worked for me last night! although the fishing was slow most of the evening I managed a 27" walleye on a bobber and leech during the total eclipse north of grand rapids..there's always a hungry fish somewhere, glad she bumped into me on a dark evening I wish it would have been 1/2 hour sooner so I could get a picture of the top sliver of the moon in the background.

was fortunate enough to experience the eclipse while fishing the gap on winnebigosh it was truly an amazing sight didn't do so great on the fish but they would have been merely a bonus anyway

I didn't get out til the moon was almost completely covered but where I fished there were a couple of guys fishing. I think they said they had caught 6 eyes so far. They caught two more. When the moon was completely covered the bite ceased. I fished for a couple hours more but the bite never returned.
