Crossing near Warroad

I know that the boarder crossing at International Falls can get VERY backed up on a Saturday. Does the boarder crossing north of Warroad get backed up on a Saturday too?

Going through Warroad and I Falls will get you to completely opposite ends of Lake of the Woods. Are you sure you want to go that way?

The borders at Baudette and Warroad are significantly less busy than I Falls but they aren't open 24 hours from what I remember and they are staffed at lower levels so if you do find traffic for some reason - it will probably take even longer.

both Warroad and Baudette crossings are open 24 hrs.

Yes I'm sure. I've been through both several times, but I haven't been to the one by Warroad on a Sat afternoon before.

The crossing by I falls can have a 2+ hour wait on a Saturday afternoon. If the crossing by Warroad is that way too, I will change my plans to go up on Friday night.

I did the surveying on the brand new Land Port of Entry in Warroad. When we were building it there was maybe 200-300 cars that passed through all day long. Granted that was during the week. I don't think it gets a whole lot of traffic, mainly because it is on the west side of the lake. If you go that way let me know how it looks. I didn't get to see the end of construction, had a different job opportunity pop up.

You should be fine on Sat. afternoon, especially over at that crossing. Have a good trip.
