Shiners

Anyone know any good shiner cathing places around the New Munich area (3 miles south of Melrose). Also does anyone know how to catch them

For "lake Shiners", look in any small stream entering a lake with shiners. When you can see them, use a seine to net them up. With the seins you will catch everything in the stream anyway so you will most likely catch something you can use for bait.

A good place to look is any dam, obstruction or culvert.

They can also be caught in lakes when you can find a school, again with the seine. This works particularly good at night.
