Pheasant population

For many years I have hunted the Carroll area for pheasants. I have also hunt around Dedham south of Carroll. How are the birds doing this year?

My old stomping grounds, yet I rarley hunted there either went East or south. Birds were down when I left there 7-8 years ago, guessing they are still down since the statewide populations way down.

That area is south of where I hunt, but populations have been down in recent years most everywhere in the state with the exception of northwest and north central. We're going to be down this year...big time. Lost alot of birds, especially hens, in the tough winter.
