Lund boat pedestal

LakeTahoe

Question

I have a 2007 Lund Pro V, with the driver and passenger seat that are permanently mounted to the floor, and I believe they are air ride pedestals. It seems the drivers side "air ride" is gone, and the seat won't move up or down anymore. Can these things be fixed by someone? or do I have to buy a new one?? Any thoughts?

They can't be repaired... if they're shot their shot.

But, there is some adjustment - pop the seat off yours (may have to un-screw the base from the bottom of the seat) and look at the top of the air ride pedestal. You should see a screw that kind of functions like a plunger - try an loosen it a bit and re-install, see if that helps things any. If it's not a plunger type screw there should be a Philips head screw on top... make the same adjustment.

If any range of adjustment doesn't fix the problem it's time for a new base.
