1900_LE
Yesterday for some reason my gas gauge quit. On the back there is 2 poles. One has a "S" and one has a "I". Checking with a test-lite, the one with the "I" was good. The one with the "S" was a real weak lite. Any ideas whether it's the gauge or the sender? marine_man
Check this thread out:Gas Gauge TroubleshootingYou should have another pole on the back of your gauge for ground... make sure you've still got ground.I would expect a real weak light from the sender.. it works off resistance.marine_man

Northlander
So what was the problem?
1900_LE
I traced the wires from the gauge to the tank. Some how, the wires got disconnected at the tank. Really didn't want to have to pull and/or replace the sender.
