was in yankton last night and didnt want to make what was supposed to be a quick trip with out wetting a line. Figured while I was there I would try for a night bite.

I opted to fish from shore above the dam on the rocks. I only ending up catching one blue gill and lost another fish on shore. I either got bit off, or didnt tie on my jig right. Other than that it was pretty slow. I tried crawlers, leaches, and about everything else in my tacklebox. I did see one nice catfish caught but other wise only a handful of boats out above the dam and a couple people on shore.

Great night to be out, but unfortanetly I had to call it a night earlier than I had planned and got off the lake before the storms came through. Just thought the fish might be active before the storms came through.
