croixflats
Man it seemed it took for ever for the blooms to start to open up. The stalks grew fast with in a weak at opener. I was up north the first ten days of the opener and when I came back the first photo was what I saw! The photo's you see now are today! This is tonight. DonBo
My Dad brought one back from a hunting trip in So. Dak. about 25 years ago. I think it has flowered maybe three times in those years. It's beautiful when it flowers, but what a gawd awefull plant when it don't.
SpecialK
I spent 18 years in CO and can't stand them personally. They are a terrible pest of a plant that spreads if not kept in check. I will tell you if you want to get rid of them, get a shovel and keep digging, their roots go down a long way. A 5 gal can of gas and match is effective as well.
