Where and What to use for Catfish

Anyone Know where i can fish for catfish and what to use? i heard about the

cannon river but i dont know where. I dont want to fish in the missippii river or minnesota river. I heard the catfish there at cannon river is pretty fresh So let me know

well the cats in the cannon river most likely came out of the mississippi any way you can always fish for them on the horseshoe chain

go to tanners lake in st paul, nice big channels

I ate some eater sized channel cats out of horseshoe chain this past winter. I wasn't a big fan of them. My mom, on the other hand, loved them. I'd recommend those lakes if you can get up there.

Not sure the cannon would have significantly less pollutants than the MN or Mississippi rivers, and to be honest, and on a young eater-sized cat I can't see it making a huge difference either way.

Where area of the state are you willing to travel? The Mississippi channels up by Elk River are just as good as the Chain channels (IMO)....

just MN or the borders in WI

Tanner Lake is off of 94 near the Harley Dealership. You can catch them right off the dock using cutbait or just liver.
