Bushman
Has anyone used the Lowrance Structure Scan on the lake? If so would you recommend it.

0 Turkeynate1
I would say it's a must buy! Check these out! Here are some pics I took last night of some cribs and rock piles. These are some rock piles I never knew were there. This picture shows some suspended fish (white dots) off the rocks in deeper water. This one I'm not sure if these are anchor drag marks or someones lower unit cutting up the bottom. I'm thinking anchor since it was 16ft deep. 0 huntnfish
Today was the first time I got to see one in action and all I have to say is its unreal! Like the picture above show, it really helps to give you an idea of what things look like sown there.
0 PerchJerker
I have one on my boat, connected to two HDS displays. I think it's great. It's not something that I find helpful 100% of the time, but I have found some really interesting spots I never knew existed, on lakes that I have fished for years, and there have been several times this year that I have fished spots and/or caught fish because of what the structurescan showed me. Also, it really helps you learn and interpret what you're seeing on your regular sonar, and that is exteremely helpful imo.I started a thread this spring after I got out with my structurescan, you can see it HERE
