I am heading up there for the Memorial weekend, I will have the boat along and the canoe. Looking for some info on the fishing there and if there is good paddling to be done? It seems like a nice park from what i have read and seen online! Also the wife and I will have a younger one with as well ... is there a playground in the park?

We camped at the group site up there a few years ago. We caught mostly smallies, perch and pike. All were pretty small. How was the fishing?

It was really good ... the sunfish spawn was in full bloom so it was cool for my wife and son to see for the first time since we are new to fishing! I like to just watch there behaviors on the beds. We caught a good dinner of panies Saturday. There were a lot of being cut up in the fillet house as well! Did not see any pike though.
