SS Prop for 04 -75 Yamaha 4 stroke

I am looking to upgrade to ss prop for my 75 yamaha tiller.

Want to increase speed and getting on plane faster. What pitch should I get and 3 or 4 blade. Thanks

Impossible to tell without more info. regarding boat size, current speed/RPM at WOT, etc.

What boat is this installed on? What is your current WOT RPM's and speed? What is your current prop (alum/SS, diameter, and pitch)?

It is on a 18 ft. Lund adventurer tiller. Right now I get about 32 mph. WOT not sure of RPM's as I do not hae that gauge. Looking for a little more speed and more turning control. I think it is a 17 pitch now.

Assuming your not redlined with current prop, drop to a 15 or 14 pitch stainless and you will see lower troll and maybe 1 or 2 mph top end gain. But quicker take off and you will hold plane better at lower speeds and just have better control. I have 18 foot crestliner with 90 honda tiller and went from 17 al to a 13 S.S. and that is what I noticed and my rpm went up 100 rpm and top end from 35 max to 37 max. I think 4 blades will handle load better and launch better but give up a little speed compared to 3 blades(extra blade is extra drag). My 13 S.S. is about perfect for my rig and it is a wide and heavy boat. I bet a 13 or 14 would be the ticket.
