blindside mirrors

Recommended Posts

Is there a correct spot to attach blindside mirrors? I've seen them on every corner of a mirror. I have mine on bottom right truck with a rectangular mirror. What about on a car with smaller mirrors? What about the shape; round, rectangular, or is this a preference thing.

I've always seen them in the lower, outer part of the mirror. (lower left side of the driver mirror, lower right side of the passenger mirror). The shape and location is a prefference. If your mirrors are properly adjusted there really isn't a need for them. Most people have there mirrors adjusted to far in.

as a passing vehicle approaches you should be able to see it in the mirror first then the mirror and visually as it continues to pass. If there is any time you don't see a passing vehicle either in the mirror or visually the mirrors are not adjusted correctly.
