Paul
Canvas Tarp on my Pro-V has lost a lot of its waterproofing abality and don't feel like dropping 500-800 on a new custom tarp. I read somewere on line, about someone using thompson water seal (the kind used on wood decks) has anyone tried this? I know there are some actuall tarp sealers out there at 50-60 bucks a gallon, just looking to try something a little less, as I will probably buy new tarp next 1-2 years. Thanks in AdvancePaul

delmuts
I can't answer your question, but when i needed to water proof my canvas cover, i bought a spray on water proofing from wally world.( a freind that repaired, and made covers told me about this) I think it took three or four cans, and was good for a couple of years.( course my boat spent much of the time inside. But two years later after a heavy rain while we were at a motel, it was still good)
