Hey guys, just curious on how many of you guys have pulled spinners behind boards? I have only tried it once with no luck. How do you know how much line to let out behind the board? How fast do you troll? What are some of the little tricks to it? It seems like it would be a very affective thing to do at the right times.

I do this a bit. I add the weight I think is needed and send out the spinner. I let it hit bottom once hold it a second and then twice and then put the board on. Its usually a shallow thing for me but when doing so in deep water Im fishing suspended fish and its trial and error. Speed plays a big roll. If you do this get off shores with the tattle tail flags.

It works, but a real key is making sure you have the spinner rig running at the proper depth .....
