mike11 Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 here is my ? i replaced the bearings on my trailer then put about 100 miles on my new tires blow out on the one side tire the inside tread all the way down to the wear marks the only thing i can think of is i didnt get the bearing on that side perfect is this correct? or what else would make a trailer tire wear like that big thanks for any help/advice thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

marine_man Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 If you've done it before, and it all went together without any issues I don't think it had anything to do with it, unless the assembly wasn't as tight before, allowing for the tire to right itself.. but I think you'd have other bearing problems if that were the case.marine_man Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Valv Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 I would speculate you have a badly bent axle, or at least a spindle. If your axle was off position, it will tow more on one side (you can see it in your mirrors) but the axle, being perpendicular to the road, will always track straight.The weight on your trailer can also influence tire wear.
