Rigger1
I have a 2 year old Yamaha F150, I've probably put 20 hrs on it this spring already. When its in neutral and running it beeps about every 3 seconds. If I put it in forward or reverse it stops beeping. Any ideas? Or should I just bring it in? boatfixer
It could be the overheat alarm. Worn impeller blades and the moving water past the intakes or increased rpm is helping compensate. never the less it needs some looking into. What is the owners manual telling you about a beep every 3 seconds?
Pat K
My '06 150 did that its first season. In my case it was the float in the fuel water seperator was stuck on its guide rod.
Rigger1
Thanks, I'll check the water seperater and if it's not that I'll bring it in.
