New Gas Grill Question

Recommended Posts

Well, time to buy a new Gas grill. I've been looking and am wondering, Has anyone had any luck with Brinkmann? they're the Home Depot priveate brand and I'm guessing you get what you pay for, but they look quality and they're $80-$100 cheaper than comparable Webber and Charbroil.

Just curious if there's been any good/bad experiences with Brinkmann.

I just bought the one they have on sale for 199.00, the ad said comparable to 345.ish grills. Don't know if that's true, but it sure works good. For the price, if you have to replace it in 3 or 4 years, so be it. Nice to get a new grill every few years.

IF YOUR GOING TO BY A GRILL TO LAST, AND PERFORM, GO WITH A WEBER. FOR THE EXTRA $$ YOU CANT GO WRONG. ONE TIP. BUY A COVER FOR IT, AND USE IT! THIS WILL EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE GRILL. IF YOU PAY GOOD MONEY FOR IT, TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT!

I have owned a Brinkmann in the past but now own a Weber. The Brinkmann I owned only lasted about 2-1/2 years on the original set of burners. I also had to replace the cooking grates. They were ceramic coated cast and rusted through. Maybe I had bad luck with the Brinkmann but I use my grill alot so I decided to step up and go with the best. I now own a Weber S-320 and love it.
