Wisconsin Spring Hearing Results

Recommended Posts

Below is a link to the spring hearing results. Personally many were as I expected but I did not agree with the walleye question for the Chippewa Flowage. It makes no sense to me to move the size limit to 18 inch's. I told them my opinion to which I thought I would get a lot of argument from but surprisingly had people agree with me. I told them to move the size limit to 18 makes no sense as it would move the size limit to target the major spawning class size. A slot limit would be much better such as 17-26 or some equivalent. oh well it was just my 2 cents and thats what the hearings are for.

well took my camper up to the flowage and got it all set up for the opener. Some of the locals I talked to aren't to happy with the question at the spring hearings on the flowage I think it is 43 or maybe 42 and they without a doubt do not think to highly of the local dnr fish biologist.
