Bog birds revisited

Was at the bog again and found our old friend the N. Hawk Owl. Was able to get much closer to him this time but wasn't able to spend as much time shooting him. He was being harassed by some sparrows that were pretty ruthless.

We spotted this male Northern Harrier hunting in a field when we were about to leave and followed him forever as he hunted in the ditch along the road before I finally got some decent shots off. There flight is so erratic they are very frustrating to try to track.

My favorite, I love the color of his eye.

Nice harrier shots, I have seen a lot of them down there lately but haven't got any pictures yet.

thanks, they are pretty tough how they fly low and erratic.
