saunasisu
I have a Yamaha F150/8h motors. I need to replace fuel/water seperating filter. Question I have is,on the box it says to prime until filter is comletely full. How do I do that? Is this something I can do or do I need to take it the shop. marine_man
I would think you'd be able to do that with the primer bulb.marine_man
saunasisu
Well, that makes sense. Thanks
311Hemi
It may be easier just to fill the canister before you screw it on, I know that is what I did when I originally installed mine.Anyone else have the priming bulb after the filter and use the bulb to fill the canister? I have heard of people installing priming bulbs before the filter just for this reason.
solbes
I just installed one on my Lund. The fuel lines go: gas tank, water separating filter, primer bulb, engine. I was a little worried that I might need an additional primer bulb before the filter, but I had no issues when I took it out on Sunday. saunasisu
Solbes, I have the same set up on my Lund. I think I'll fill up the filter, screw it on and prime the bulb. That should work. Thanks for the insight, boys. Happy fishing.
