Thanks for the reply river. I'll probably just head up there when the season opens and try my luck. The DNR seems to stock every year, so I hope they dont try to cut cost and stop this year. But as long as my niece can sit there with a worm/waxies under a bobber. I'll try my mepps, panthers, spoons, etc because I'm not patient enough to sit and stare at a bobber.

Way back in high school we used to fish it every spring before the weeds started to grow on the north west corner of the lake at night for trout. This is when the north shore was private and they let you camp on their land, fish, picnics and what ever for a small fee. We used to fish them with marshmellows two feet up from the sinkers. For a few weekends every spring we put the smack down on the trout. Great times, good spot for 17 year olds to drink beer and not get into any trouble. We were talking about this a few weeks ago and were going to check and see what the hours are for the landing this year. Maybe take out the canoe and give her a shot.

The lake's tiny. You can't miss it. There is a county park on the north side of lake with a launch ramp. There is also a public access on the south side that you can put in a canoe or small boat. This ramp is not for trailers, much too steep.

I believe only electric motors are allowed.
