Networking Lowrance units

WaveWacker

Question

Kind of related to the ethernet post on here but I have a couple of networking ?'s.

1 - I have an LCX 112 unit and an older LCX15MT unit. I'd like to move the 15 up to the bow so that others can see what's going on (map wise and sonar wise). Is there any way to network these two units together so that they utilize the same transducer in the back so I can eliminate interference? I have two module's already installed so I'd probably just extend the cable for the 15 up to the front but really trying to figure out how to cut the sonar interference.

2 - My father has a LCX110 unit and is looking to purchase a new HDS unit. Probably a smaller one to install in the front of his boat. He'd be looking trying to accomplish the same thing as what I am.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The only way to share 1 transducer between multiple units at the same time is to connect them via an ethernet cable. Your units need to have the yellow ethernet port on the back in order to do this.
