I got the Q-Clips for my fiance's G6 since I got rid of my jetta for a truck. I followed the directions of the clips to the T while putting the rack on and ended up with the canoe coming loose on the freeway eek Luckily the front went down instead of up and it hit the hood of the car instead of flying into traffic. We got it back home with a different car (not mine).

Has anyone had any experience with a Yakima rack on a G6 before? Is there any sort of trick to getting the thing to work or is it just a bad design?
