Stream conditions???

Looks like I will be heading in for the opener this year. I know we have two weeks, but how do the streams look? Specifically, the S. Branch of the Root?

Fine for now however time will tell depending on when it rains. Just keep an eye on the weather closer to the opener and this Whitewater stream report:

i think it would really have to rain A LOT for the streams to get bad.. its been pretty dry and the rain we have gotten has been relatively insignificant... so most rain is gonna go straight into the ground

MN Opener is 10 days out so any forecasts less reliable. Rain today, tomorow, maybe Monday 4/12, maybe Wes 4/14. I am no weatherman. Unles we get HEAVY downpour for an extended period the MN harvest opener Sat April 14 should be good fishing.
