broken_line Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 can i install a tachometer off of a snowmobile on a chrysler 25 hp? ive heard connect the singnal wire to one of the engine kill switch wires? any help would be greatly appreciated! Valv Posted March 26, 2010 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Engine kill switch is ground, will not help at all. Does your motor have electric start ? Does it charge the battery ? If yes you should be able to connect the signal wire to the rectifier, usually a gray wire.I don't know if the tach from a snowmobile will work though, I thinks it's different from an outboard.
