I hear the Samurai Braid has about half the diameter of equivalent braids. You'd probably need 120lb Samurai minimum to get the desired line diameter.

Started out with PowerPro... hated it... switched over to TufLine XP... whole lot better... started hearing about Cortland Bronzeback... so gave it a try... its GREAT... then gave Fireline a try last fall and absolutely LOVE IT... All of my reels are/will be spooled with Fireline #80 for this year...

Last three years I've been making my own flouro leaders from 130# Seaguar... til I ran out of the materials... Now Im using 165# from Hi-Sea... They're little bit cheaper than Seaguar but works as well... Not so hard to make your own...
