Looking for elementary advice

My wife and I will be spending a few days on Lakes Tetonka and Sakatah next week (8/21-8/23). We are relatively new to serious fishing (trying for specific species) and have absolutely no idea what type of fish could be hitting in that area and what we might need to land a few "lunkers." Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

check out the south central mn forum....some posts specific to tetonka there. Also post the query there, and someone local should be able to steer you in the right direction. if memory serves, the current state record largemouth is listed as coming from tetonka...
