Campgrounds With Playgrounds

Just curious if anyone knows of any campgrounds (north of mille lacs) that have adjacent playgrounds as well?

How far north JB? Theres a little playground right next to Big Bog campground on Red Lake thats saved my bacon a couple times while taking my 2 young girls on crappie/walleye missions over the last 10 years!

I actually found a national forest campground (to my surprise) up by crane lake that I'm gonna give a try. It sounds like it's more tent friendly as opposed to campers as well But yeah, my wife said camping is a no go unless there's a playground to take our daughter to...as much as she loves being in the boat, she unfortunately can't last all day out there

Last time I went camping on memorial weekend (cass lake in '07) I was greeted with 50 degree days and 30 degree nights. But with memorial day a few days later and with the early spring, I think it'll be warmer.

Surprisingly JB, there are quite a few little boats up there around opener-Memorial weekend. If the lake is too rough, there are good fishing opps in the tamarac river early in the year. Good luck with wherever ya end up:)

Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely consider you guys Lake winnie would especially be good for my brother-in-law as he prefers to boat/tube as opposed to fishing.
