Barony
My parents are doing some work on their kitchen and they would like a tile back splash put up. Just put new laminate on the counter. I'm heading home to help this coming weekend and have a question. Can I use a product like liquid nails or other construction adhesive, or do I need to whip up a batch of mud and put it on the wall? It's 2x2 tiles and will be 3 rows high. Just trying to minimize the mess I make in the 'rents house. Lord knows I did enough of that 25 years ago. frazwood
You can buy a small tub of mastic for this job. I wouldn't use liquid nails or construction adhesive.
sunglow2
Like Frazwood said, a can of mastic will work fine so long as the wall is in decent shape. Good luck with it!
