Ice Warning!

Be extra careful if you are still heading out on the ice in the area. Yesterday a 4 wheeler went threw on the lake. He was driving about 300 yards out from shore and the ice collapsed. The integrity of the ice has been compromised with all the warm weather and rain as of recent days, the cooler temps now are not improving the conditions, just prolonging how long we have ice.

It was my neighbor. He made it ok and we get the bike out and running again. It varies drastically across the lake now. You timed it just right Jiggles.

We were in the Crow Lake area this past week and dropped the back end of the wheeler in 3 times when getting on and off lakes. South facing shorlines are very sketchy now. Only way to get on and off some lakes was by using planks. Never had any problems away from shore but the ice was cracking Friday and Saturday afternoons. Be very careful if you are out on the ice.
