Anyone fishing the NWT Tournamant on Sherman April 17/18? Me and the boys are thinking of "donating" our money again

Great time is always had by all. We will be curious to see how the fishing is this year on Sherman.

I won't be fishing a tourney at Sherman until May 8th! I don't know what to expect on the April Tourney cause the ice will only have been off the lake a couple weeks by then. I will keep my ears open and let you know if I hear anything!

Cool!!! I plan on winning this year, so I will be buying you a prime rib dinner as a thanks for the tips. You know everyone else will be tight lipped

I talked to a buddy today that is working at the lake right now and he says it is openeing up fast! Still can't get a boat on unless you know someone at the private cabins. That is the only ramp open right now.

The edges are opening up here. Won't be long. Ice fishing is definately over here, except for the very brave. Disappointing season. Lots of slush and miserable conditions. Maybe next year. For now, I just need to make up for lost time when open water arrives...and I will!!!

Fished the big tourney. Finished 24th out of 54 teams. After Saturday night we were in 16th place, poised for a strong placement. First flight out and we had a fat 18" in the livewell within two minutes. We suddenly had $$ signs in the eyes . That was the last fish we caught that day. We fish one of these a year to get our fix for the tournament lifestyle. My hat goes off to those who do it full time. Walleyes are a fickle fish.
