bonesteel
Has anyone had a problem with the smell from using fingernail polish to paint jigheads. Does it seem like it spooks fish more than the powder or vinyl type paints which I know(now) are far better methods. Would seem to me that after it dries it would be odorless but thought maybe the water would bring out the odor again. Any info is appreciated. Thanks. panfishpounder00
i've used nail polish on alot of jigs that i've tied up, but i thin it out and run through an airbrush. i've noticed no issues so far with using it. the nice thing about nail polish is it comes in many, many, many different shades and some offer a really cool metalic look. the only complaint that i've had from using it, is the smell of painting with it can get overwhelming, use proper ventilation! thedeadsea
+1, no issues here. Nail polish is strong stuff.
Bobb-o
Nail polish is great for those colors you cant seem to find anywhere else. I always use the CS Coatings Seal Coat finish on top of it.
