Jamestown fishing

I'm going up that way for easter and wondering if there is

any good shore fishing spots?

There is a spillway below the jamestown res. dam on the south side of the highway that can be really fun to fish. Lots of walleys and pike if you hit it right. If you want to go for a drive, the missouri river in bismarck should be in full swing or the tailrace for trout. Nelson lake (a power plant lake) near center is good for bass and crappie would be a little over an hour away.

That's probably your best bet... other than the few public accesses and the beach, there's not much easy to get to land to shore fish from.
