MAC Numbers Program

I would like to add the Numbers Program for my MAC but really don't free like paying $79.99 for the program. I wont use any of the other programs the come with the IWork program kit. Does anyone on here know of a program like this that i can get (free or cheaper) to do the same thing??

Wish I could help, but not a Mac guy and not even sure what the numbers app is.

OK....a quick web search clued me in, then I checked and Open Office has a version available for Mac and looks to be a free download.

Just do a google search for Open Office for Mac and it should bring up the site for you to find the software.

If you're looking for a spreadsheet program you can look at iWork (which has your numbers), microsoft office (yes they have this for the mac), openOffice.org, and google docs. I don't know of anything else but you could do a search of the apple site for other 3rd party software.

I know you can get it with iWorks that is what i'm trying out get around... I dont want to pay $79.99 for just that program.

If you don't want to pay, sometimes you have to be willing to make do with something not quite as fancy.

What's the problem with OpenOffice that it won't work for you?

I don't need to make do with OpenOffice... I could make that program in Excel in about three hours. Open Office is nothing like Numbers!!!
