Turkey Seminars at Gander in Baxter

Just letting everybody know that we will be having a couple of turkey hunting seminars at the Baxter Gander Mountain store on Saturday, March 13th.

Dave Peterson will be in the lodge talking about calling at 1pm, and I will be talking about gear and how it relates to success at 3pm.

These will be great seminars for anyone out there who is fairly new to the sport, but we also plan to go more in-depth as well, so there should be something for everybody.

This year, there have been more turkey permits handed out than ever before in Minnesota. If you didn't get in on the drawing, left-over permits are available March 1st, and "left over" isn't all bad. There is plenty of good opportunity.

It's pre-season for turkey, and many of us are already getting stir-crazy with cabin fever. So come on over and hang out with some fired-up turkey hunters on the 13th!

I believe that the surplus tags do not become available until March 15. I'll have to check out the seminars. Spring just cann't get here fast enough!
