Loomis Question

Quick question for anyone that fishes Loomis rods...Has anyone used the MBR782, MBR842, or SMR812 rods? If so, would any of these be preferred for throwing jerk baits? I know the SMR812 is actually listed as a jerk bait rod, but it seems so light and has such a fast action, I can't imagine its got enough backbone for a LC Pointer or HuskeyJerk. Love some opinions on those and others.

It has to be a Loomis rod. I have a $350 credit I need to use here soon and I can't decide. I already have an MBR843 in the Loomis and love it, but want to get something a little lighter for jerk baits and smaller cranks. I am fishing mostly smallmouth. Thanks for the help.

The MBR782 or the MBR842 will suit your needs very well for what you are looking for. Depending on what length you feel comfortable with either one will have the softer tip you are looking for. You might also want to look at the SMR 811 if you want something a little softer.
