I have a cranking issue since new, when temps get to 0 or colder. The Oil and filter gets chenged every fall with 0-30 Amsoil even with only 200-300 miles on it. The battery checks out fine with a hydrometer. All terminals and starter connections are clean. Battery volts in diagnotic mode show 11.9 thru 12.0 volts before crank attempt. When I attempt to start it at these colder temps, all that I can get out of the battery is about 1/2 of an engine revolution.Sounds like the starter bushings are dry. If I could get about 5 quick revolutions, it would start right off. Warmer weather even at 15 degrees is no problem. Any ideas?

Even though you've tested the battery with a hydrometer, it still sounds like it's the battery thats giving you problems. Easiest way to find out is to jump it from another battery and see what happens then. The best way to test a battery is with a load tester. You can get a cheap one from Harbor Freight for like $15.
