Which model Knipex?

I know there are several different styles of Knipex cutters, but which one do you recommend for cutting hooks?

I have the 8" lever action center w/cutter spring. The only one I'll ever need.

You bet,that's the one I have, a good choice.

I have that same cutter in my boat, only without the spring. Model number is 7101200 without the spring and 7112200 with the spring. I've had that one in the boat for about 10 years and it still cuts with ease. If I ever need a new one I'll be going with the spring loaded one. For just $8 more, it's a nice feature to have. But either one will last you a long time and will be worth every penny.
