When is the 2010 MN Fishing Opener ???

I keep seeing 2 days. the DNR site now says the 5/15/2010 and other sites are saying 5/8/2010. If its the 15th then it will not be over Mother's Day which I have never seen.

By law the fishing opener is two weeks prior to the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, so this year it's the 15th.

I thank my lucky stars I live on the St.Croix though May 2 is still to far off.

Well at least we have ice and the rest of the season but thats coming to an end fast.

I'm thankful that we have a closed season or I wouldn't ever get anything done around the house.
