Venison sausage

I got a big tube of venison summer sausage from my brother. It was in the freezer so I thawed it out. Just wondering how long it will last in the fridge? I think it will take 2-3 weeks to eat it all, and would like to save some for a trip coming up next week.

wrap the cut end with tinfoil or a plastic bag with a rubber band around it and you should have no problem keeping it for 2-3 weeks as long as it is smoked,which I'm sure it is.

If you have a vacuum pakcer(or know someone that does), cut it into smaller portions and vacuum pack it and it could be good for several weeks in the fridge.

Hell, throw half back in the freezer if you're worried about it. No problem.
